If the salary was the same, what job would you be doing right now and why?
This question is a deep one for me. I am past retirement age, but I still work full-time. I have had the same job for almost 27 years, so obviously, I enjoy my work. I would like to retire, but my pension will be less than half what I make now. That’s why I’m still working. I don’t believe I can get by on my pension. I’ve decided to retire when I reach 70, no matter what.
My wish is that I could make what I earn now as a retired person. But I know this will never be.
I’m perfectly happy, not earning anything, being a retired legal beagle, now an author of epic paperbacks, adventure books. All on Amazon Books to order. http://www.deetezellimountainstories.wordpress.com

Lisa, that stinks. I hope you get a windfall that would let you give your two-week notice and let you write full time 😎

You’ll be surprised how much less it will take to live on once you’re retired. You can probably save enough money to make up most of the difference in pay. (And enjoy it a whole lot more)
