Came to America

My distant relatives came to America. My great-grandfather came here from Sweden and my other very distant grandparents came from Germany and England. I will always be grateful that they had the courage to leave their countries of birth and journey here.

So many people want what we have here, and even though the American Dream has all but disappeared, the United States of America is, in my opinion, the greatest country in the world with freedoms and opportunities that are unique.

We are free to speak, worship, protest and vote, among so many other things.

I know our country needs fresh, empathetic and strong leaders with great communication skills with a love of justice and freedom and a heart for all mankind. But, if you live in America, for just a moment, let’s stop and be grateful. And then let’s continue to be a voice for love and justice for all.
