If you could have something named after you, what would it be?

My first reaction was “a grandchild.” But then I thought, what a burden to put on another human – to be named after someone so unremarkable.

Then I read Louis Carreras’s post and was inspired. I think I would like a style of chair to be named after me. The chair could be any brand, but the style would be called a “Paul.” It would be a comfortable chair with nothing fancy about it – no recliner or swivel. Just a chair with thick cushions and a wide seat you sit in to read or write, with that wonderful back that molds around you somehow – a chair you can hold your infant grandchild in because it is so cushy and has such perfect armrests.

That would be my wish.
