An author I admire very much has released a two-part fictional story to substack. He publishes under the name John Twelve Hawks. I have posted the link to part one. I’m not sure if you can read it without the substack app, but I found that it is worth installing the app just to follow him.

He wrote about video surveillance and the loss of our privacy before most people knew it was happening in his fictional trilogy beginning with The Traveler. He really thinks outside the box and is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. But I love him. He has been a passionate advocate of maintaining our privacy and anonymity. The things he warned about are now commonplace.

Thank you for sharing this, Lisa. It’s a dark, intense beginning. I love how he has introduced to a world that feels almost monochrome. Like humanity has lost its touch with humanity. I’m looking forward to part 2.
