leaves dancing in light breeze,
but under the branches the
trees hold air that’s cool;
darkness, like a mystery
that wants to solve me, beckons
walk the bridge over
danger, all faith is in the
strong planks that lead to
tomorrow, don’t look down or
back – open your heart and walk

This is so beautifully atmospheric, Lisa. I love the way you contrast the playful light in the leaves with that cool, mysterious darkness underneath. The transition to the bridge, and the shift from observation to action, is so powerful. That last line, ‘open your heart and walk,’ is just perfect.
