Hope

Hope is
the thing that Faith
gives wings to, without it
vision blurs, strength flees, despair stays,
but with
Hope your
tomorrow sings, feet press forward,
willpower strong, filled with
gratitude you
grasp love

  1. Lisa, thank you for sharing this beautiful and powerful reflection. Your words are a gentle, much-needed reminder that hope is the quiet engine of our lives, fueled by faith and lifting everything else. It truly made my day feel lighter and more focused. Your ability to weave such insight is a gift. Please keep sharing your light.

  2. Beautiful cinquain, Lisa.

Lisa, I’ve been meaning to tell you for the longest time that the name of your site means a great deal to me. For 35 years, from 1985 – 2020 our family vacation in Montauk, New York. Our last summer there was the year before Covid; we have not returned since. Too many changes in our lives and in the Village of Montauk itself have kept us from returning. There was a little store in the heart of the village that we always went to every time we were there; even if we didn’t buy anything, it was fun to look around. The name of that store was A Little Bit of Everything. Every time I’m on your site I am reminded of that store and our 35 years of vacations.
