Here is my response to Share Your World
Here are this week’s questions:
- If you could be a flower or a plant, what would you be and why? I would probably choose to be a tulip. I love tulips. Tulips are so beautiful and they appear after a long and cold winter with their bright, colorful blooms. Tulips say, “See this beauty? Well, hang on because there’s a lot more where that came from because SPRING IS COMING!”
- Do you believe in magic? I don’t believe in magic, like the Harry Potter kind of magic. But I believe in the magic of beauty, kindness and love that exists in our world. Sometimes, the way the light hits the surface of the water, turning it into a dancing patch of sparkles, is so magical that my mind believes anything is possible. There have been times when a stranger has appeared at just the right time and helped me, and it was magic.
- Do you believe in Karma? I definitely do. We have all seen someone get “what they deserve.” I believe that if you do good, good usually comes back to you. I try not to judge others, I try not to think that someone deserves something bad to happen to them.
- Do you live in a community spirited neighbourhood? No. I live in the country and we all pretty much stay to ourselves. I guess that’s the purpose of living in the country – the solitude, or being left alone. However, if one of us is sick, or in danger, my neighbors would help in a heartbeat. We just don’t bake each other pies or sit and visit together on the porch.
My gratitude:
I’m so grateful for my job and my WP friends!!

Thanks for joining in Lisa.
When we lived in the country, there was no shop, pub, church, post office or anything in our village. We lived next to the village hall, and had a row of terrace houses on the other side. Our immediate neighbour was odd……. nosy, running everyone down, and in short a nasty piece of work, so no surprise she had no friends, and anyone who was her friend was blanked by everyone else!

She once stood on a stool to look over the fence at what we were doing! We then hung used tea bags on the line and when we invited her in for a cuppa just to satisfy her curiosity over some DIY, she asked if she’d get a used or new one!
