Take the Jump

life goes round, showcased the same view, the
same day, familiar comfort-
tentacles attached me- to routine;
life begins outside my view
gather all my strength to take the jump
to the great unknown

  1. Ferris Wheels seem pretty harmless. My brother needed a Xanax to ride on one. He didn’t get one, and I thought he was going to crawl down to the floor. But he didn’t, solving the problem by pretending to be Superman.
