I stayed at my daughter’s home in Chicago last weekend. It was her first Mother’s Day and I wanted to see her and her little family and celebrate with them.

I know this doesn’t count as my top 5 favorite fruits, but as I was waking up one morning, I was saying, “Oh, this melon is so sweet,” So I was dreaming about eating melon. Weird. I’ve never had a fruit dream before. I was also disappointed because when I woke, I didn’t have the taste of the melon lingering in my mouth.

Now that I’m back home I’m wondering if I’ll have another dream about fruit. Maybe blueberries?

  2. This post would fit beautifully on this week’s Friday Fictioneers! The photo prompt this week was a photo of a sliced melon, oj coffee and lie a tablet or a phone or something I cannot really remember. What a fun post.
