Here’s Looking at you, Toddy

In response to the Get to Know You Round #59 prompt

1. How would you feel if I tried to talk to you before you’ve had your morning cup of coffee?

I would be perfectly fine with it, although I may be a little slow on the uptick. I always make my coffee, put it in my thermos, and drive to work. I don’t start drinking my coffee until I’m at my desk. Weird, I know.

2. What’s your most repeated movie quote or phrase?

Every time my husband and I had a drink together, I would clink my glass to his and say “Here’s looking at you, kid” because he was 3 years younger than me. I will never use that phrase again.

3. What’s the strangest nickname you’ve ever been given?

My little sister was five years younger than me, and when she started talking she could not pronounce “Lisa”. For some reason, when she said “Lisa” it came out as “Toddy”. I would say, “Sharon, say ‘Lisa’,” and she would say, “Toddy.” She was very offended that we asked her to repeat that so many times. Didn’t we hear her say it? So everyone started calling me Toddy. Since I was about seven at the time, I was greatly offended at the weird nickname!
