I have very athletic children and grandchildren, even though I was never very athletic. The grandchildren get a lot of help, coaching, and encouragement from their parents, and it shows. All of the children that are old enough to play baseball or softball are involved in those sports. My two oldest grandsons and my second oldest granddaughter have the skill and control necessary to pitch. There is a lot of pressure on the pitchers, and it can be difficult for a youngster to be in the spotlight and have every eye on them, every pitch. But I have to say they rise to the challenge and, be it a strike or a ball they throw, they make us all very proud.
