Clapton was in love with Boyd and actively pursued her despite the fact that she was married. Boyd divorced Harrison in 1978 and married Clapton in 1979. She inspired other songs Clapton wrote, such as “Wonderful Tonight” and “Bell Bottom Blues.” She and Clapton divorced in 1989 due to his alcoholism and infidelity. The fact that Boyd was a muse to two incredible musicians is remarkable.
