Caught In The Rain

I’m sorry
it’s blurred
my eyesight
It’s the rain
I can’t control the visions
they have such clarity
Not real? Oh, I know
but the rain doesn’t wash them away
and I want them to be true
I’m sorry, you want levity
I am trying
but my past is trying to break into
my present and the ghosts
I long to touch are dancing
in the rain and I think
I will join them
