Di of pensitivity 101 has once again challenged us to answer the burning question, What do these terms mean?
1. Baloney – a loan from a bald loan shark – when he charges interest he always rounds up
2. Hogwash – a mouthwash that makes you squeal like a pig when you spit it out. Children love it.
3. Codswallop – a terrible, old fashioned punishment for bad children where parents would wallop them on their backsides with a large cod, then make them cook it for dinner
4. Bunkum – the act of shoving two or more children into a bunk bed for wont of enough beds available at that particular time
5. Claptrap – a person who claps at your mouth, trying to clap it shut when you want to tell an inconvenient truth about them
6. Fly tipping – when you grab someone by the fly of their jeans and tip them over, again and again until they can no longer get up. Super fun at drinking parties.
7. Tripe – tripping random people who are wearing striped clothing as they walk down the sidewalk
8. Balderdash – an annual race only for bald men
9. Trash – what I find in mysterious places after my grandchildren leave, usually sticky and always empty, unless it holds a liquid which in that case it is always almost full
10.Scrap – a family football game in the front yard that usually turns into a wrestling match
