Dreams

I don’t know when my dreams started becoming as real to me as my waking life, but one night I woke up and realized my dream seemed completely real. In my dream, my deceased husband was alive, and we were on vacation. It was warm with the ocean by our beautiful hotel. Our children were young again.

My dreams were vivid and pleasant. I could return to a previous dream and continue. I dreamed of road trips with my husband and kids, the scenery, the stops. I dreamed of big dinners and laughter with family members that had passed away many years ago. And I got to be with my husband again, almost every night

As I drift off to sleep, I murmur to my husband, ‘I am coming – I’ll be there soon. The Starpainters are taking over now.’
