Colleen and Robbie remind that today is the last day for submissions to the Sunflower Tanka – Dreams anthology, closing at midnight EST. Willow hosts Tanka Tuesday, encouraging poems triggered by sensory memories.

a forgotten smell
rarely caught, cigarette smoke
and I’m transported
to the family sedan and
dad is driving, his
arm rests on open window
the cherry glows red
when he breathes in and his smoke
signal races down the road
