It is not an option to stop
You must keep going
I know you are tired
I know you are not appreciated
No one tells you that you are wonderful
No one says, I see all that you are doing
Tomorrow is going to be a better day
No one brought you a coffee
No one brought you a puppy
No one named a new branch of the hospital after you
You feel invisible, and you are doing it all on your own
Your car is making funny noises, that’s going to be expensive
Wow, how much did you say that prescription cost?
Thirty dollars worth of groceries fits in your back pocket
Try not to sit in your car and cry again
Tomorrow is going to be a better day
Remember how you and your spouse/friend/sister/brother laughed until you almost peed your pants last night?
Today your daughter brought you a wildflower and put it in water
Your son drew a picture at school and said it was “my family.” He’s no artist, but it was sweet
Your husband is going to grill out this weekend, which means you don’t have to cook
You can still call your parents because they are both still alive; if they aren’t then call a friend while you can
Your dog is getting older, but she’s still here and she loves you
Tomorrow is going to be a better day

Write a bop poem titled “Instructions on Not Giving Up.” What’s a Bop poem?
A bop poem has three stanzas and a refrain that repeats after each stanza. It tells a story or explores a problem, a bit like a mini-drama.
Refrain
Repeat it one last time.
First stanza – 6 lines
Present a problem or situation.
Refrain
A single line that repeats after each stanza. Think of it as the poem’s chorus.
Second stanza – 8 lines
Expand on or explore the problem in more depth.
Refrain
Repeat the same line.
Third stanza – 6 lines
Show a solution or a failed attempt to solve the problem.
Always keep going !
Love this Lisa.💖

I really feel this one, Lisa — it’s such a tender lift from exhaustion to gratitude. That refrain lands like a soft promise. 💛
