It was dark, I kept tripping over my boots.
Terrible howling was much too close.
An owl cries -is it boogeyman warning?
I fell on my caboose, then booked it into my house
where I settled down with bootleg booze and a good book.
These are a couple of wildlife sounds I hear regularly at my house. Usually there are not that many coyotes, so the chorus isn’t that loud, thank goodness. I love our barred owls.

De Jackson, aka WhimsyGizmo is the host of d’Verse Poets Pub and asks us to write a Quadrille using the word “boo” in some form.
Caboose! LOVE it! So much fun boo in here.

Raised a laugh (at your expense) and I’d definitely book my caboose in for bootleg and book 🙂
