Fibbing Friday

My first time to try Fibbing Friday.

Today’s questions have been provided by our friend Jim Adams. Thanks Jim!

Who was buried in King Tut’s tomb? His personal food-taster, Pierre. Yeah, that last meal was poisoned.

Why did the Sphinx have a lion’s body and a human head? Because they didn’t like the human body/lion’s head combo

What month of the year did the Nile River overflow its banks? April – because April showers bring a lot of water

How many gods did the ancient Egyptians worship? Twenty-Eight, except on every other Saturday when a couple of extra gods were thrown in the mix for good measure

How much makeup did Cleopatra wear? Enough to cover that unsightly mole on the side of her nose, and that was a lot of makeup

How long was Nefertiti’s neck? Longer than Pinocchio’s nose after a day with Candlewick

Why did the Egyptian’s walk so strangely? So that the Bangles could sing a hit song about them

How many pyramids did they build? Twelve, but nine had to be torn down after the building inspector found problems with their foundations

What was Ramses II known for? Who is Ramses II?

What did the Egyptians do in Karnak? They went shopping, caught a ball game and picked up some really good cheese
