This is a very, very beautiful song. I would be honored if you would listen to it today
This song addresses some of the deep truths that are dear to my soul.
This world and mankind was created to dwell with God, in perfect peace. Sin broke that perfection and death and evil were introduced and God could no longer dwell among us.
That all of creation groans to be brought back into that perfection.
That Jesus came and fulfilled hundreds of prophecies, He is the Messiah and the Lamb of God. Because He died and was resurrected, once again God can dwell among us, those who have accepted that He is our Savior, through the Holy Spirit. When God creates the new heaven and earth, we will never be separated from Him physically again and perfection in all creation will be restored.
Revelation 5:8 NKJV
[8] Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song:
[9] And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
[10] And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
Although I do not share your religious beliefs, the desires expressed in this song are not lost on me. We all need to be reminded of the good we have the ability to attain- and that every day is a new day, so it is never too late to begin the journey toward being the best that you can be.
