Might as Well Dream

My dream home would be out in the country with no near neighbors. The house would be one story, with a porch that goes all around the house. The house would be pleasing to look at, but not grand or imposing. There would be water nearby, the ocean would be perfect, but a lake or river would do. You would enter the home and walk into a big common area that contains the living and dining rooms and kitchen. That is the heart of the home, where everyone gathers. There would be 3-4 bedrooms so kids and grandkids could stay when visiting and an obscene number of bathrooms. There would be a few hidden doors that lead to hidden passageways just for fun.

A large pole barn would be behind the house, along with a barn for the animals. I would love to have horses, a few sheep and goats. Of course, a few dogs and cats would play outside with the other animals before coming in for the evening. The land would spread out, green and beautiful, with fruit trees lined up on one side of the property. Wherever the home is located would enjoy all 4 seasons every year.
