Today Billy is getting his first treatment of Vidaza. We’re in the treatment room, and he’s getting an anti nausea medication first. It’s been so long to get this started. The infected cyst on his back looks infection-free, and he hasn’t been running a fever anymore. I’m praying and praying for God to touch and heal him, for the treatment to work. I can’t be without this man. He’s my world.
We had a 4th of July party with family and Josh & April and Heather & Max and Janice’s Family. We celebrated Judah and Evangeline’s birthdays and Jason put on a spectacular fireworks show. Billy was tired, but managed to stay up the whole time. Billy’s sister, Lisa, came here on the 3rd and stayed til Sat the 6th. It was great to have her here. One great memory from the 4th was Billy lighting sparklers for everyone with his blow torch! Nick, Joanna’s fiancé, came home with her and got to be exposed to some Paul family time. Lisa colored everyone’s hair with red, pink or blue on the front porch. Jason has tannerite on targets and the guys shot at them with a rifle. Well, the guys and Joanna! Lol
So, the IV is in and started. Please, please dear God, let this medicine bring a miracle of healing to Billy.
