I haven’t written for awhile. We gave Henry away to a young family in Solsberry who live by her father on a 200 acre cattle farm. They want to teach him to herd cattle. The father has a heeler pup and the family has 3 dogs for Henry to play with. They’ve sent a couple of videos and Henrys in heaven. Not mourning us at all. We miss him. But this is for the best, for him. But we do miss him: his silly personality, his jumps onto our laps, the way he’d lay on Billy’s chest in the morning and lick his face.
Billy had a bone marrow and bone biopsy last Thursday. Who could believe this is our life right now? My strong, healthy husband is sick.
With all that’s going on in our lives, we had a pleasant Memorial Day weekend, and it was awesome. Joe & Trisha came down Sat and Joe did yard work for Billy. We babysat Nora and Bailey so they could go out for their 4th wedding anniversary, and we all had fun. Sunday we boated, and Nora was fearless on the tube. Then she was fearless in the kneeboard! Trisha tried doubles, and Joe wakeboarded. The waters still pretty frigid, but we swam all weekend, too. Jason and Janice caravaned up with all the kids and foster kids Monday and all the kids got to tube several times and swim. We had a delicious cookout and Cindy & Sam came over, too. Billy was extremely fatigued on Sun, but better on Mon., so that was good.
I called the doctors office about how bad Billy feels, his fatigue, bad headaches, weakness, heart pounding. We go back on Thurs. 5/30 to get the results of his bone marrow biopsy. Praying there’s nothing seriously wrong with my sweet husband. ❤️
